About

Alyssa Graye is a Board-certified Creative Arts Therapist with specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and her Masters in Professional Studies from Pratt Institute in Art Therapy and Creativity Development.

Alyssa brings a unique blend of evidence-based practices and expressive arts interventions to support healing and growth across diverse populations. Her therapeutic approach centers on the transformative power of creative expression, recognizing that art serves as a universal language that transcends verbal communication.

With over 15 years of experience, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and developmental challenges. Her settings include inpatient psychiatric care, special education schools, domestic violence shelters, and child advocacy centers. She believes in creating safe, culturally responsive environments where clients can explore emotions, process experiences, and heal through artistic expression.
