Accepted Insurance Coverage
Mossman Play Therapy Center is in-network with the following insurance carriers.
Coverage varies by plan. We recommend confirming your behavioral health benefits directly with your insurance carrier before your first appointment.

We also work with clients using out-of-network benefits or self pay. See the rates & fees section below for additional information.
We are in-network with Tufts Health Plan and Mass General Brigham Health Plan for commercial plans only. Public plans through these carriers are accepted by only two clinicians: Kimberly Mossman and Kristen Brown. We do not accept MassHealth or any other public insurance plans. Please contact our office when scheduling if you have a public plan so we can confirm availability.
Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield (FEP) plans do not cover services billed under supervisory billing for pre-licensed clinicians.
Out-of-network reimbursement eligibility varies by policy. Please contact your insurance carrier to verify your specific coverage and benefits.
Rates & Fees
Pricing varies based on session type, length, and clinician. Specific rates are confirmed during scheduling.
Counseling Sessions
Counseling sessions are typically 45–55 minutes in length. Rates vary based on session type and clinician.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your session or cancel less than 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee prior to your next session.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or paying self pay have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of therapy services. We are happy to provide a written Good Faith Estimate upon request — just contact our office.
