Lauren is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children and families. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in social work from Wheelock College and her Master’s Degree in social work from Boston College. Lauren has spent much of her career in Early Intervention, supporting families with children ages birth to three who present with medical diagnoses and developmental delays. Lauren currently works as a school adjustment counselor in a local elementary school. 

Lauren is passionate about helping children become their best selves. She specializes in working with children and families to navigate various concerns, such as anxiety, ADHD, trauma, school issues, mindfulness, witnessing violence, and DCF involvement. Through the use of play therapy, Lauren utilizes an individualized and strengths-based approach in helping children grow and develop stronger coping skills.
