Jessica Colley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children and their families. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Nazarene College with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master’s degree from Bay Path University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jessica has worked in various settings as both a mental health clinician and a developmental specialist. She has experience working in the school systems as well as in client’s homes and in traditional office settings. Jessica has committed much of her career to supporting and providing services to the youngest of clients. As a certified Early Intervention Specialist and during her time as a behavioral specialist for a local preschool, Jessica has expertise in the assessment of developmental delays in infants through age 3 and in providing behavioral supports and resources for children and the systems they are involved in. Using play therapy and other expressive modalities, she works with a range of issues including, but not limited to: behavioral concerns such as biting and hitting, attachment issues, anxiety, ADHD, autism, sibling rivalry, and trauma. In addition, working with family systems and parents is also a passion of Jessica’s. Children are part of a larger family system and, as such, Jessica understands the importance of assisting families in understanding and responding to their children through the lens of the family experience. Jessica provides parent coaching, support and counseling. Jessica utilizes a strength based and solution focused approach in helping children and families grow and develop through play.
